ichik·studio is an online studio because of the flexibility the World Wide Web gives us, although we always prefer to meet our clients face to face and have a coffee to talk about our dreams.

Creativity is what we do, particularly in design, visual communication and, above all, the creation and management of brand personalities, also known as branding.

We have worked together for more than 10 years in different settings: from major advertising agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB) to the public sector (SBS, AECID) and non-profit organisations (Niños de Guatemala, Cruz Roja, Helvetas). We have built extensive experience and gained a unique perspective on the world of communication, and that is what we offer our clients.

Creativity is in our team's DNA. It is the key to solving problems, whether we are discovering new ways to connect our clients with their audiences or developing practical ideas to convey a brand's personality.

Every entrepreneur dreams of a better world, and at ichik·studio we want to help make those dreams come true through what we do best: design.

We want to help entrepreneurs do what they do best—build their businesses—while we focus on what we do best: creating identities, images, communication materials and quality content.

The word ichik is of Mayan origin and means ‘dream’, referring not to the desire to sleep but to daydreaming: that pleasant, ethereal longing for the future. That is how this studio was born, from a wish to be part of a dream coming true and to be a creative partner in a better world through an idea, a project or a venture.

After years working in major advertising agencies and consulting for organisations of different sizes, contexts and backgrounds, we have realised that our proverbial contribution is not about pursuing our own benefit alone. It is about finding common ground where the entire social network involved in an organisation and its work can benefit. We therefore seek a place for our work between major brands and social initiatives.

Our experience across the public, private and non-profit sectors has given us a broader view of a strategic niche that we believe will become a new pillar of the global economy: entrepreneurial ventures, especially social enterprises.

This is where we work, helping widen the crack in the wall of inequality. We seek to work with alert minds and young hearts—age has nothing to do with it. We want to work with people who know how they can contribute to a better world and, above all, a more sustainable one.
